Over the past 10 years, the Riverside campus has grown significantly. The Bourns College of Engineering in particular has seen dramatic increases in demand for its programs, with its undergraduate enrollment growing by ~56% during this period. In response, the Campus is planning for the necessary instructional space required to adequately support current and future faculty and students. The proposed project would increase the campus inventory of engineering-related instruction and research space, allowing BCOE’s programs to grow and develop in line with the student population.

The goal of CDI is to provide modern class laboratories and research space for Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE) faculty and students to advance technical knowledge and skillsets.
