OASIS Park
The space program is envisioned to include research, classroom, office space, co-working and incubator spaces, and other shared spaces. These spaces will complement existing programs at the Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT), startup/acceleration/incubation programs, and University Extension.
The project will support the six pillars identified in the Opportunities for Advancement, Social Inclusion and Sustainability (OASIS) initiative:
- Clean Energy & Fuels
- Clean Transportation & Infrastructure
- Natural Resource Management
- Agriculture Technology & Food Security
- Community Health & Disparities
- Human Development
The proposed project also involves the demolition of the existing University Extension building.
